Sandrart hat diesen Passus stark gekürzt; Vasari unterstreicht, dass das Werk als leicht gemacht erscheinen solle, nicht mit »istento« (vgl. Klemm, Notizen, zu TA 1675, I, Buch 3 (Malerei), zu S. 62)
