Annotations

Sowohl in der Beschreibung von Testas Darstellung des Selbstmords der Dido, in dessen Kontext Sandrart diese Person erwähnt, als auch nach Vergils Aeneis (Buch I, 642 f.) dürfte es sich um Iris handeln. Wie Sandrarts Bezeichnung zustande kommt, ist unklar.
