Annotations
Bereits Peltzer verwies auf ein Ölgemälde van Dycks als Vorlage für das Porträt, das als Vorzeichnung für das Vitenporträt in der Teutschen Academie diente. Vermutlich lag Sandrart eine druckgraphische Reproduktion des Gemäldes durch Theodor Matham vor; vgl. Peltzer 1925, S. 127, Nr. 91. Diese Annahme wurde zuletzt von Mazzetti di Pietralata wiederholt; vgl. Mazzetti di Pietralata 2011, S. 174, Kat.-Nr. 265.
