Annotations
Bereits Peltzer verwies auf die Zeichnung als Vorlage für das Vitenporträt des Künstlers in der Teutschen Academie. Vermutlich ist sie nach einem Gemälde van Dycks entstanden, das 1698 im Nachlass von Johann Jakob von Sandrart erwähnt wird; vgl. Peltzer 1925, S. 127, Nr. 92. Diese Annahme wird von Mazzetti di Pietralata bestätigt; vgl. Mazzetti di Pietralata 2011, S. 175, Kat.-Nr. 266.
