Philochares

Griech. Maler, evtl. im 4. Jh. v. Chr. tätig, laut Plinius (Plin. nat. 35, 27) fertigte Philochares ein Bild mit der Darstellung des »Glaukion und seines Sohnes Aristippos«, das Augustus in die Wand der Curia Iulia einsetzen ließ; vgl. KLA 2007, S. 679–680.
