Eine laut Diogenes Laertius (III, 26) inschriftlich erwähnte Person, die in Athen ein Bildnis des Plato errichten ließ, von dem Sandrart berichtet, vgl. TA 1679, III (Malerei), S. 47. Die Identität dieses Mithridates ist ungeklärt, doch gilt er nicht mehr als Mitglied der Mithradatiden-Dynastie; vgl. Michels 2009, S. 87.
