Ein gebürtiger Turiner, der zunächst in Nürnberg als Sprachlehrer tätig war und hier in Georg Christoph Eimmarts Nachbarschaft wohnte, ehe er im Jahr 1671 eine Anstellung als Italienischlehrer an der Universität Uppsala annahm. Trug die David Klöcker Vita, sowie das Elogio Madrigalesco auf Klöcker bei, die über seinen Korrespondenten Eimmart an Sandrart gelangten, siehe Gerstl 2000, S. 886 ff.
