Dionysius Vossius’ kommentierte Übersetzung der Idololatrie-Schrift von Moses Maimonides (1135/38–1204) lag bereits 1636 vor, wurde jedoch erst postum 1641 von seinem Vater herausgegeben, der sie zusammen mit seinem eigenen Werk De Theologia Gentili publizierte; s. Stroumsa 2010, S. 91. Auch in späteren Ausgaben von De Theologia Gentili, wie beispielsweise der 1668 in Frankfurt erschienenen, ist De Idololatria enthalten.
