Annotations
Schon Sponsel erkannte, dass es sich bei der Darstellung der Doppelhermenbüste um einen gegenseitigen Nachstich nach einem Blatt aus Canini, Iconografia 1669 handelt; vgl. Sponsel 1896, S. 151, Nr. 84 (14.e). Eine ebenfalls gegenseitige Rötelzeichnung wird in München aufbewahrt (Bayerische Staatsbibliothek, Codex Icon. 366, fol. 2r).
