Johann Philipp Fleischbein von Kleeberg d. J. protegierte sowohl Johann Heinrich Roos (vgl. Jedding 1998, S. 19) als auch Willem von Bemmel (vgl. Eiermann 2007, S. 182, Anm. 3); eine Landschaft von diesem erwähnt Sandrart in der Sammlung Fleischbein von Kleeberg (vgl. TA 1679, III (Malerei), S. 81).
