Im Unterschied zur Vorlage – eine gegenseitige Illustration in Agostini, Gemme antiche – ist das ovale Bildfeld hier nicht quer-, sondern hochformatig angelegt. Der Hintergrund wurde mit Baum- und Buschwerk ausgestaltet.
