Annotation
Wie Sandrart selbst schreibt (s. TA 1675, II, Buch 3 (niederl. u. dt. Künstler), S. 264) beruht das Vitenporträt von Schwarz auf einer Zeichnung von Hendrick Goltzius, die heute verschollen ist. Sandrarts Vorzeichnung für den Vitenstich gibt Goltzius’ Vorlage nicht vollständig wieder (vgl. Peltzer 1925, S. 114).
