Sponsel verweist bezüglich der Skulptur des Eros mit Delphin auf Folio 63 in Bd. III/IV von Giovanni Battista Cavalieris »Antiquarum Statuarum Urbis Romae« (Rom 1585–94); s. Sponsel 1896, S. 147 f., zu Nr. 66. Dort wird die Skulptur von einem anderen Aufnahmestandpunkt aus gezeigt.
