Ebenso wie von dem Pendant der Morgenstunde gibt es von Both auch diverse italienische Landschaften mit Abendstimmung, etwa die italienische Landschaft mit Fähre. Eine Kopie nach einem solchen Werk mag Sandrart besessen haben.
